After Landing; the shuttle and crew, both ready to go again. Does this look old and obsolete? Where else in the world is there anything that even comes close? The Shuttle program is just hitting its stride. The people attacking it need to have something better flying before they say we should throw all this away.

I just looked at that picture of the Mediterranean out of the Cupola.

I have tears in my eyes. I may weep. This is the image we have waited for. This. This is mankind's window onto space. It's just . . . . We will go. We really will. And we will colonize it.

I know Calli, that one really grabbed my attention too.

I hope we'll see regular Cupola imagery as the ISS's orbit precesses around the Earth.

The Nile Delta in Egypt, The Canary Islands, Japan, Arabian Desert, Australia, the USA, my part of the UK, etc passing beneath.

I like this one of Endeavour, backing away from the ISS.

Houston, we have space sushi.

Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi may be far from home, but not from his country's trademark dish. He is making sushi in space while floating weightless aboard his current post on the International Space Station, and even wears a chef's hat while he does it.
