The Super Bowl is the one sporting event of the year that has a little bit of everything for sports, entertainment, and food fans of all levels and interests. Whether you’re rooting on your favorite team, eagerly awaiting the halftime show, or putting together a list of killer Super Bowl appetizer, this day of acceptable gluttony, intermittent shouting, and over-the-top spectacle is a highly anticipated American tradition.
There are a lot of things we still don’t know about Super Bowl 2020, aka Super Bowl LIV (which means the 54th Super Bowl). What teams will be facing off? What will the most buzz-worthy commercial be? Will there be another blackout in the middle of the halftime show?
So what do you need to know before you start planning your Super Bowl recipe, hanging football decorations, and prepping fun Super Bowl party games? Here’s what day the Super Bowl falls on in 2020, where the Super Bowl 2020 is taking place, and more.

What day is the Super Bowl 2020?
As we all know, the Super Bowl happens on a Sunday every year, despite the inevitable Monday morning football hangover. This year, the Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2020. Mark your calendars, because January will be over before you know it.

Kickoff: Sunday, Feb 02 at 06:30 p.m. ET | Venue: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens.

Where is the Super Bowl this year?
While Atlanta hosted the Rams and the Patriots last year, Miami will host the big face off this year. The 54th Super Bowl will take place at Miami Gardens Hard Rock Stadium, home to the Miami Dolphins.
This is the 11th time the Florida stadium will host the event. If you’re looking to see the game in person, 2020 Super Bowl tickets are starting at $3,500 on Vivid Seats. Um, we’ll stick to watching it on TV.

What channel is the Super Bowl on?
Fox will air the game this year, and kick-off will be at 6:30 p.m. EST.

Who’s performing at the Super Bowl halftime show 2020?
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will give us what we assume will be an unforgettable halftime performance. Not only are we bound to get medleys of the two artists’ songs we’ve only ever dreamed of before, but J-Lo has also teased the possibility of some surprise guests joining them on stage.
As if the halftime show wasn’t enough, Lady Gaga will be headlining a pre-Super Bowl concert in Miami on February 1. While most people are probably unable to attend the AT&T TV Super Saturday Night event in person, you can catch a live stream on AT&T TV’s Twitter during the concert. So for anyone who wants to get their partying started early, here’s your opportunity.

Who’s playing in the Super Bowl 2020?
After the Conference Championships on January 19, we now know who’s officially in the Super Bowl! The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will compete against each other on February 2, 2020, in what we hope to be an exciting game.
