Seeing as Arnold Schwarzenegger will be 67 in 2014 (the year I expect T4 to be made), will he need a CGI version of himself to look young enough for the part? I figure his voice could still be used and he might even be able to work with motion capture systems to help with the animation, but he won't look right for a machine that doesn't age.

I figure the movie would cover everything from the various terminators (and Conner's father) being sent back through time to the end of SkyNet.

Will Pittenger
Add this user box to your Wikipedia User Page to show your support for the SDC forums:
{{User:Will Pittenger/User Boxes/Space.com Account}}

No, not 2014.

In reply to:

Terminator 4

Release: Summer 2009

Director: TBD

Producers: Moritz Borman, Peter Graves

Writers: John D. Brancato & Michael Ferris (screenplay)

Cast: - T3's Nick Stahl and Claire Danes are out

John Conner: Edward Furlong (rumored)

Rest TBD

Synopsis:

After the drastic effects of Terminator 3, the story continues as John Connor and soon to be wife Kate Brewster realize they must create a resistance organization with Earth's remaining survivors against the army of robots slowly being built up by Skynet. As they are building this resistance, one survivor happens to be a traitor in disguise, and has a secret that nobody would ever come to suspect.

BUT there is now a lawsuit between Halcyon and MGM over distribution rights. Basically Halcyon bought the rights a few months ago but MGM thinks it has a 30 claim based on properties it got from the Orion Studios bankruptcy ages ago.

Hopefully it can be settled quickly.

It was every 10 years. 1984. 1994. 2004. 2014 would be next. Who was your source? Also, Summer of 2009 would be awful soon for a movie that would need years of work. Filming would be only part of such a movie. Also, in that time frame, Arnold will be of no help as he won't be leaving office that soon.

Will Pittenger
Add this user box to your Wikipedia User Page to show your support for the SDC forums:
{{User:Will Pittenger/User Boxes/Space.com Account}}

It's not every 10 years;

T1: 1984
T2: 1992 (8 years)
T3: 2003 (11 years)

It's listed on the Internet Movie DataBase; imdb.com

IMDB is an Amazon.com company

The new producers want to take advantage of the hype surrounding "The Sarah Conner Chronicles", which is getting lots of good buzz and is expected to run several years.
