The full Strawberry Moon, the last supermoon of 2021, rises tonight! Here’s what to expect

Jean Meeus Astronomical Algorithms on page 332 list tables showing the Moon's extreme perigee and apogee for different periods. 356, 371 km and 406, 702 km. The Moon at extreme perigee angular size is 33.53 arcminute. The Moon's angular size at extreme apogee is 29.38 arcminute. 4.15 arcminute difference. Difficult to see this difference using unaided eyes. Camera photos can show the difference in distance during Full Moons though when carefully taken and compared. The different angular sizes of the Full Moon stand out clearly when compared like this.
