What about the impact crater over here by the USA and Mexico aka the golf of Mexico? Their was a show on TV that said that was the largest impact crater.

It is only the largest until somebody finds a bigger one. Better to call them "largest yet identified" or, better yet, "largest yet confirmed", because there are others that are "suspected" but not yet confirmed.

The Earth has been impacted by far more meteorites than the Moon, but weather, erosion, and other forces have hidden evidence of their impacts. Over the course of 4 billion years there have probably been many millions of impacts, maybe billions.
