Artemis 2 is not "set to bring astronauts to the lunar surface in April 2026". Artemis 2 will not even orbit the moon. It will be sent on a free-return trajectory around the moon and back to Earth no sooner than that date. Artemis 3 is the first NASA mission planned to bring astronauts to the lunar surface, not before mid-2027, and that depends on developing an as-yet non-existent lander, so don't hold your breath.
