Got it tonight.<br /><br />1. the movie (16:9 of course)<br />2. a 20 min comic w/sound prequel of the events leading up to the movie<br /><br />The cardboard box folds in half to make a double-wide container for the plastic cases.<br /><br />Not too many extras, just the setups and scene selection, but the video encoding quality is GORGEOUS!! <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

Quite good w/lots of action and if it doesn't get the effects Oscar this year it's more than highway robbery. <br /><br />Of course having scenes with Megan Fox prancing around makes it easy on the eyes <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" /> <br /><br />Pic....<br /> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

I just watched this last night and I have to say, it's wayyyy better than I thought it would be. It's actually pretty good now that I think about it, (compared to the rest of the movies being produced today.).

<font color="yellow">Did you get it on HD-DVD?</font><br /><br />Both DVD and HD DVD because our 7 year old son wanted a DVD set for his non-HD setup. <br /><br />The 'normal' DVD, as expected, looks great on a 25" CRT TV and our sons 19" LCD TV/monitor and still looks pretty good even on our 37 inch Polaroid LCD. A bit dodgy on the Panasonic 50" LCD though, which is to be expected. <br /><br />Haven't tried it on the 42" Panasonic plasma in the video lab though.<br /><br />Of course the HD DVD looks spectacular, but then it was encoded using 1080p MPEG-4 AVC (Advanced Video Coding) which is the wave of the future regardless of who wins the format wars (both BR and HD DVD require AVC, MPEG-2 and VC-1 aka Windows Media 9). <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

When I walked into the theater to watch this movie, I wasn't expecting much. But WOW! It really rocked. Beat the pants off of the other so-called Blockbusters of the Summer; Spider man 3 and Harry Potter 87. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <font color="#ff0000"><u><em>Don't let your sig line incite a gay thread ;>)</em></u></font> </div>
