Mods: put his where you will...this was just a guess.

Maybe this kind of thread for fact-based programming should be a sticky somewhere?

Anyhow....I posted this as a reply in SciFi but thought it might be info to a wider audience, so here's my first contribution.

======

"Race to Mars" is a movie style US/Canadian production premiering Sept. 23 @ 8 p.m. ET/9p.m. PT on Discovery Channel and Discovery HD (4 hr mini)

There are 2 companion documentaries;

"Mars Rising" on the same channels premiering Oct. 7 @ 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT with Wm. Shatner announcing (6 hrs). One cool part in episode 5, "Six Minutes of Terror", shows a ballute reentry on Mars.

"Earth to Mars: The Great Space Debate" premiering Nov. 11 @ 7 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on Discovery Channel (1 hr wrap-up)

Check your scheduled times on the non-premiere episodes of Race to Mars and Mars Rising as there bouncing them between 7 PM ET and 9 PM ET.

Nice time to have a DVD recorder
