VAB question

There is not a lot of info or photos inside the VAB. Are there any "leftovers" from Apollo that we not needed for the STS and just left alone in there. (such as the command modual service platform since it would have been so much higher than the shuttle)

The best person to answer that question is, one expects, a little busy with work at the moment. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" /> I suspect, however, that as much of the Apollo infrastructure that could be reused would have been. The high work platforms were likely cut up and reconfigured to provide access to the Orbiter lower down.
