If you get a video playing and then scroll the image out of site, it stops...change to a different tab, it stops .....just try to change the volume, it stops. Usually if you open a page with a video it starts playing automatically but silent so you then have to back the video up to the start after unmuting it just to catch the whole video. How about just letting the video sit there passively until I click play on it with the sound on by default? The articles here are great but the implementation of video on the space.com web site is frustrating at best. I loath the video system about as much as the ape lady loathed bananas in "Planet of the Apes". (Incidentally I'm running firefox in ubuntu, but I doubt that's relevant.)
