Viewing tonight's comet from the UK

Hi all, can I ask which direction to look to view the comet tonight from the UK?

hey dont know if this reply is too late for you but if you know how to find M45 (the Pleiades) *always have trouble spelling that* look just 'underneath' i managed to see it naked eye tonight from lancashire, went for a test drive in my dds car down some dark country roads...nights like these i wish i took my binoculars <img src="/images/icons/frown.gif" />

The Pleiades* are a good place to look, right now. It's been raining here, so I got my first look tonight. The comet is moved off from them, but they are still a good reference. Just draw a line through Taurus (where it was) through the Pleiades, go little bit further, and you'll see it.<br /><br />Where I live is a sort of dark spot in the Bay Area, and we actually get pretty good seeing. Better than anyplace in Southern California in an urban area. Anyway, I couldn't see the comet with my naked eye, but I saw its fuzzy blobiness just fine with my 7x binocs.<br /><br />Up at the Chabot observatory, I bet they are looking at it right now. It's directly overhead.<br /><br />*Whenever I can't spell something, I just type it any old way as a Google search, and Google prompts me with the correct spelling
