The Pleiades* are a good place to look, right now. It's been raining here, so I got my first look tonight. The comet is moved off from them, but they are still a good reference. Just draw a line through Taurus (where it was) through the Pleiades, go little bit further, and you'll see it.

Where I live is a sort of dark spot in the Bay Area, and we actually get pretty good seeing. Better than anyplace in Southern California in an urban area. Anyway, I couldn't see the comet with my naked eye, but I saw its fuzzy blobiness just fine with my 7x binocs.

Up at the Chabot observatory, I bet they are looking at it right now. It's directly overhead.

*Whenever I can't spell something, I just type it any old way as a Google search, and Google prompts me with the correct spelling
