I have been looking through this data and admittedly I am less knowledgeable about some of the anomalies in the data than I would like to be.

Here's a link to the waves:
http://www-pw.physics.uiowa.edu/plasma-wave/voyager/data/VGPW_10xx.html

My question is this: 1 - there seems to be a block carrier / interference wave at 2.3 kHz, and if you listen to the waveform, there is an occasional "pong" noise as well as a rising ocillation that sweeps from 1 to 6 kHz occasionally. I suspect that these are all caused by different mechanical / radiological sources on the spacecraft... but which ones?

Admittedly, there's probably two or three people I think can answer this here, but I just know an unsolicited e-mail to the PI at UIowa is going to end up in the deleted items folder...
