You do not need to be impressed, the money does the talking. Also NASA now prefer to use a flight proven falcon 9 booster to launch its astronauts to the ISS. SpaceX have achieved what most thought impossible. Boeing got paid around twice as much to launch to the ISS that if the current Starliner test may be required there are no more Atlas 5 rockets left to complete their contract for NASA. also ULA's Vulcan rocket or Blue Origin's New Glenn has human rating yet an lest not for some time. Maybe according to your prospective the USA will need to rely on Russia to get to the ISS again?

The spacex starship has a 100% failure rate and is not certified for human flight. Musk is also not producing the cost figures for reconditioning boosters instead of building new ones. WHY? Because it is both cheaper and safer to build new ones

Starship will have many test flights, yet I expect SpaceX to be launching Starlink Satellites next year, then after many more successful flights will be done before any human will ever fly on one, Let alone to land on the Moon for NASA.

Maybe we should focus on SpaceX, rather than Tesla. If you want to talk cars, there are more suitable venues for that elsewhere.

The Falcon 9 boosters are currently rated to 20 flights and have demonstrated that capability. SpaceX is working on upping that to 40. Why don't you already know that? When landing on return from orbit the rock is coming down much faster than the speed of sound so when the rocket hits dense enough for the speed it is traveling it creates a sonic boom. The deciding rocket will no longer make a boom when it descends to a much lower speed.

So many people hate Musk for some reason or other as this person, ZZTOP, demonstrates. If it had not been for Musk the US would be having to use Russia to send supplies and people to and from the ISS. However SpaceX has nothing to do with Teslas except maybe fund some of it. SpaceX single-handedly put the US back in the space race all by itself. Boeing and its SLS has been working on space rockets and has only now got a rocket that might work But the StarLiner is now stuck to the ISS because it is unable to bring its human crew back down earth. Boeing may join SpaceX back in space and again , it may just decide that it cannot compete!
