Stargazing What is this galaxy?

Hi, I am still in school, and pready new to this whole astronomy thing, and one day I found this picture. And it completely stunned me. Does anybody know what is the noame of this place?

FYI, it appears to be an image of M16, the Eagle Nebula, not a galaxy. Google search shows many images that appear similar, M16 nebula perhaps---Rod

Yep, the Eagle Nebula. Here is an image from the HST (Hubble Space Telescope) site.
