What would a magnus effect rotor do on the moon?

For "practical purposes" the moon is considered to have no atmosphere. What if I made a cricket jumping robot with a golfball magnus effect rotor?

The cricket's Magnus rotor would interact with the solar wind. The derived forces would be negligible. The device would have no practical purpose.

I learned about this jumping robot from Derek Muller on YouTube. I thought it would be cool if it had a Magnus effect rotor that controls exactly where it lands. On earth, making a ball land in a hole serves no practical purpose.

The reason the Magnus rotor would serve no practical purpose it that it would do nothing. It would not put a ball in a hole. It would not move the cricket. It would not do anything.
