That inner "clear" glass shield actually looks pretty heavily tinted. I always wondered how 'vacuum sunlight' would affect human skin without tinted glass protection. Is the rule basically to avoid any direct exposure? Nice pic.

Okay, I'm going OT a little bit here but wanted to share this anyway because I asked about it earlier in the thread.... a picture taken from LEO (in this case from Station) where you can actually see some stars. wow that is an amazing video, looks like the shuttle is going into hyperspace <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" />. Thanks for sharing it with us crix

That's an incredible looking vid, I don't think I ever saw the tiles so up close before. I was fascinated how most of the tiles have been blasted grey. I assume the ocasional black tiles are recent replacements?
