It seems a 3km object has been found, and we should have found it 9 years ago.

Is there a way we could use the trajectory and velocity of an object such as this to send equipment and
materials to as many places in the solar system as you can think of and possibly deep space as well ?

That would save so much fuel mass, I would think. I wish we could send probes and equipment, attach them
to the object, and then launch them from the object at the proper time.

This is a duplicate of a few different threads. There's a thread on this object in Space Science and Astronomy.

And the answer to the second part is no. This object is orbiting the sun in the opposite direction from the earth, so is approaching out planet at over 150,000 mph. there's no way we can launch an object to reach it without becoming a bug on the windshield. There are threads discussing the idea of attaching to an asteroid. Imparctical, but being discussed. So once I insert the links, this thread will be closed.
