The Robot is clearly derived from Robby but I'd have said they were 2 distinct entities. Robby walked, The Robot had treads. I might have missed lumping Lost in Space's silly robot in with Robby.<br /><br />But the original Forbidden Planet Robby was a far superior robot.<br /><br />It was a long list.
