"Today's launch of NASA's AIM spacecraft remains on schedule from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California during a launch window extending from 1:23:34 p.m. to 1:30:03 p.m. PDT. The weather forecast is excellent, with no violations or concerns expected to interfere with today's launch operations.

An Orbital Sciences Pegasus XL rocket will deliver the AIM satellite to orbit, where it will embark on a two-year mission to study the highest clouds in Earth's atmosphere. A specially modified L-1011 carrier aircraft, called Stargazer, will carry the rocket to an altitude of 39,000 feet and release it at a specific drop point over the Pacific Ocean. "

Sorry if there is already a thread, couldnt see one. Looking forward to this, never seen this type of launch. What will the coverage on NASA Tv be like, will we be able to see the launch clearly?
