I was reading the news paper and my eyes droped on this article about man's landing on the Moon. It said about a censored dialogue (by CIA) betwen Neil Armstrong and the base....Neil said that he is seeing huge spaceships and he thinks that they (?) are wathing them...after that the connection crashed; after few minutes the connection came back(...)...Neil said that some spaceships were following them. After they got back (on Earth), the CIA told them not to tell anyone about that...
Neil said that he saw huge spaceships, all gathered and they were more advanced than our spaceship (the pictures and the videos were censored too).
What do you know about this?
Welcome to Space.com.

As you will soon find out, this thread belongs in the Phenomena forum.

sigh.....

But the Krell forgot one thing John. No problem. After it's moved, you will be free to discuss it there (as you can here for now).

Wayne

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Nope, and for now, if anyone replies to the subject, you can discuss it here.

But the Krell forgot one thing John. In your other thread regarding UFOs, you are referring to, if I read you correctly, the so called 'multiverse' (in a way a kind of derivative of the 'sum of histories').

Can you tell us where the article was?

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Monsters. This sounds about right, last time I visited the moon I left because those freakin aliens are so annoying. I go up there for peace and quiet, not to get heckled into buying some junk 'I was on the moon and all I got was this tee-shirt" tee-shirt.

Again, beshinaman, can you tell us where you got this story??

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Monsters. Welcome to SDC! You wrote:

I was reading the news paper and my eyes droped on this article about man's landing on the Moon. There are several ways.

The first is You look for supporting evidence. One way is to ask people who might know more, as you have done here. The answer is, there is none. As far as the available information goes, there is no evidence for this at all.

A second is to look for logical consistencies in the story. How could the actual events have been censored out when it was broadcast live? The actual transcrips (and lots besides) can be found at http://www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/frame.html .

BTW, the picture you have in your post is of Apollo 12, with an astronaut examining the Surveyor robot and the LM in the background. It's a great shot.

Jon

Whether we become a multi-planet species with unlimited horizons, or are forever confined to Earth will be decided in the twenty-first century amid the vast plains, rugged canyons and lofty mountains of Mars Arthur Clarke

That's just a function of this time in the history of the solar system.

Since the moon is slowly moving away from the earth (due to tidal friction), there will come a time when total solar eclipses are no longer possible.

But the Krell forgot one thing John. This is a new twist on an old rumor. The original is that Armstrong supposedly got a bit tipsy and blabed to a professor about how UFOs intimidated them on the moon.

Professor: What REALLY happened out there with Apollo 11?

Armstrong: It was incredible, of course we had always known there was a possibility, the fact is, we were warned off! (by the Aliens). There was never any question then of a space station or a moon city.

Professor: How do you mean "warned off"?

Armstrong: I can't go into details, except to say that their ships were far superior to ours both in size and technology. Boy, were they big!...and menacing! No, there is no question of a space station.

Professor: But NASA had other missions after Apollo 11?

Armstrong: Naturally - NASA was committed at that time, and couldn't risk panic on Earth. But it really was a quick scoop and back again. /b>

Link

No, there is no question of a space station.

So why was there Skylab, Salyut 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, Mir, and now the ISS?

But it really was a quick scoop and back again.

So why is Apollos 12-17 stay longer, do more and collect more samples with each successive visit?

Note that the "Profesor" is anonymous, the source is unnamed, the specifics of the conference not given, and the interview is undated. So there is no way of cross checking the veracity of the report. Very convenient.

This is a hoax and not even a clever one.

Jon

Whether we become a multi-planet species with unlimited horizons, or are forever confined to Earth will be decided in the twenty-first century amid the vast plains, rugged canyons and lofty mountains of Mars Arthur Clarke

Tidal Forces.

We simply haven't been observing (and recording) long enough to notice any appreciable difference. These changes occur over billions of years... not thousands.

Edit: Just wanted to add that these forces act on all multiple bodies systems... nothing unique about it.

"If something's hard to do, then it's not worth doing." - Homer Simpson

It's called gravity and friction son.

Do a google on Tidal Locking. It's all easily explained well established physics, not even unique in the solar system. Charon is tidally locked to Pluto, Jupiter has moons the same way

But the Krell forgot one thing John.
