Besides Kourou, I'm pretty sure locations in Africa and some remote Pacific islands were considered.&nbsp;</p>

Other equivalent sites on the Earth would be Brasil, Surinam, Kenya, Indonesia, New Guinea, Indian Ocean islands and Pacific Ocean islands.
