The foreground looks flat, so I guess it was probably a lake or sea, so the house was obviously the home of a Martian diplomat. As the house looks like a stubby letter 'I' so I guess his name was Imago, although with different spellings on Mars, it may have been 'Immanuel'.
It is wonderful what our imagination can do these days, with so little to go on. Perhaps with bigger telescopes we will be able to find out Immanuel's birthday and blood type. Thanks to that definite picture of his summer residence.

They did not go for a closer look so we will never know. The rovers have set goals they do not deviate, The white bit is where the sunlight is hitting the end of whatever it is, look more carefully

Which is why it should have been investigated , science isn't about saying I don't believe its anything its about proving one way or the other.
