I always thought the best thing about the shows were how they evolved over time. The cast of both shows changed over time. Joss wasn't scared to kill off a charactor or mix things up a little and there in lies how both shows felt fresh after 5 or 7 seasons when other shows are definately feeling their age.

What a shame Firefly never got past series 1!

"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. They get decent credit for that.

They need to pull the old Lestat out of the Vampire Chronicles and put his world on the small screen. Those are "real" vampires. :) Dracula style, with some "umph" and grit to it even. I don't mean the whiny Louis "But I don't wanna be a vampire, waaah.." type characters. Kill them off immediately. Heck, even Barnabus Collins would kick the crud out of most of the TV vamp characters today. :)

Side note: The Blade TV series is a pretty big letdown for anyone looking for vampire fair, IMO.

I put on my robe and wizard hat...
