Ansari X prize

Hi Y'all, I'm new here so bare with me will ye? I just wanted to get reaction on the Xprize that Rutan and Paul Allen won. I knew comercial spaceflight was just around the corner. I just hope I can get there before I die. I hope the christians don't get up in arms about "man wasn't meant to go into space". I've heard those remarks, and find them to be ignorant so, let's not have any "religious" nonsense...OK?

Small world kind of thing, but I walked right past Ansari's office window every work day for about a year. They moved their executive operations to the building next to my company. We later took over that building when they moved on. But every day at noon I would walk around the two buildings with friends smoking a cigar...<br />

IMO, their success marked the beginning of something really special. I hope this will be the start of private business entering the space transportation arena. and by doing so, travel to space will no longer be a dream for ordinary people.
