Im having a problem with a recently finished telescope... for some reason i always had problems calculating the distances for my mirror and secondary placement. Well i finally got it right and its staying that way... the problem is when i tried to use my camera i realized i dont have enough in focus... im using the universal camera adapter from orion and the eyepiece sits about an inch out of focus... i was wondering if there was anything i could do to fix this problem other than moving the mirror when i wanted to take a picture. the telescope as i said is a self made newtonian reflector... mirror is an 8" f/6, the focuser has quite a bit of travel but obviously not enough. I can provide any other info as needed.... any ideas on how to fix this without moving the mirror?

I am assuming you can focus on objects with the eyepiece alone without any problems? If so, try the SteadyPix camera mount instead. Just a thought...
