I can only hope they handle it better this time. I saw the last one.. wasn't particularly thrilled either. From the writeups I have read, it may be "OK." I can't remember specifics but I didn't get too horrible a taste in my mouth when I was done reading what little I could find of a plotline.

I will watch it, probably on cable. I will try not to have any expectations other than it being a decent action/splatterfest with a medium requirement for suspending disbelief.
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

If the first AVP was a flop, why make another one? It can't be for the money?!?

These days, if you have a "story" - like Alien versus Pred - that will, on its own, entice a certain number of fans in the door - then you don't have to have a "nig name" (expensive) cast to play things - which leads to making money - its YA forumula that they can play.

I took my son to see Underdog a week or two ago - we went because he was interested in the story - I had no idea Jim Belushi was in it....

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher

I enjoyed it, but I have a definite track record of being weird. My son enjoyed it a lot - and the apple ddidn't fall far from the tree there.

It's very much of a kids movie IMO. I am old enough that I remember to cartoon quite well from kidhood, and there were homages here and there that were fun to pick up on.

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher
