Challenge for astronomy: Megaconstellations becoming the new light pollution

The Earth's global economy benefits from increased communication capability e.g.: rapacious politicians can tax businesses and consumers with abandon, twits can chatter extensively about trivia, governments can more effectively "keep tabs" on citizens', criminals' and deplorables' activities, and Earthlings may never see the rock that obliterates the planet. IMO, the glaringly obvious solution to such grotesque light pollution is to move astronomical observation off planet into space sooner not later.
