...The hit TV show "All In The Family" sure wouldn't make it in today's climate, that shows how diluted and pathetically neutral shows have become...
I agree. Well, not necessarily that it wouldn't make it. I love that show.

But, most are pretty pathetic, that I've seen. Then again... I don't watch them anyway. To tell the truth, I have no idea what the major sitcoms are these days. I've seen Two and a Half Men a few times and chuckled. A couple more at friend's homes I can't remember the names of. But, none struck me as being worth my time watching.
The advent and success of reality and talk shows has reduced television to mindless fare for most, these days we see much too many pathetically talentless bimbos and jerks hogging the airwaves, and for that art and quality as we know it on TV suffers.
I'm sick of reality TV shows even though I don't watch them. I'm tired of hearing about them. I'm tired of seeing ads for them when I'm not even tuned into their channel. And, I'm tired of hearing how great so-and-so is at doing such-and-such on whatever reality show they did it on. If they can't get me a burger and fries right now, which is really what I'd like, I don't give a rip.
