Drones Over NJ

Well, it appears we have more night sky-watchers now. In NJ looking for drones.

Go to flightradar24 and look at all the descending and ascending planes in that area.

Day and night.

I’m sure there is some pranksters in the mix.

But many see what they want to.

My opinion is its the CIA, or some other agency testing new drones; obviously the test was a flat out fail.

Why test a surveillance/attack drone at night with lights on? They would be more secure and un-noticed in daylight.

I simply suggest a source, never said it was a smart thing to do. Maybe the guy who tried to poison Castro with cigars got transferred to NJ...

Nothing is certain today. A foe might light them to film and record an attack.

The world is very nervous today. And many are watching. Makes for good headlines.

According to The Guardian, this a much larger issue than first described; no government agency is claiming responsibility, and therefore the size and frequency (see quote below) is extremely concerning, as drones as big as cars are not cheap, and 50 sightings in one night is problematic.

- Annoyance has been growing among politicians and law enforcement in New Jersey following proliferating reports of drone flights in recent weeks, including almost 50 on Sunday night alone, according to NJ.com, and a dismissal of them by the White House on Thursday that they were, at least mostly, “manned aircraft … being operated lawfully”.

Some of the accounts described car-sized drones, sometimes in groups, flying over sensitive military installations and critical infrastructure such as railway stations, reservoirs and power plants. In response the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) enacted a no-fly restriction over an army facility in Morris county and President-elect Donald Trump’s golf resort in Bedminster.

At the navy’s weapons station, ABC News reported, a spokesperson said no direct threat was identified, but personnel were working closely “with federal and state agencies to ensure the safety of our personnel and operations”. - this must be resolved.

It has me fearing the u.s. may see power outages and hard times. I’ve been following the drone videos, if it were alien life like from religions found on our planet. I would think they want to deter WW3.

Egyptians, india, and other countries have religious beliefs we have alien origins.

Do I think it’s an ET no. I agree that they are testing drones before entering Ukraine. Which made me want a food and water stock just in case the U.S. sees power outages.

Last night there was a car-sized drone in the sky over a suburb of Worcester, MA

Are they Amazon drones? There's a depot locally, in Charlton, MA

We should have shot, or captured, one by now unless our military is directed not to do so. It’s hard not to think this isn’t another “spy balloon” reconnaissance orchestrated by China. The days of their leverage over the current administration are waning.

I’m surprised amateur astronomers haven’t had some luck imaging them.

There are some real good images showing huge drones. These drones also appear to be making lots of trips between US military facilities. Some of the drones are probably spies, as in the swarms around US military during exercises off of San Diego. Some of them are probably ours which is probably why they aren't being shot down. This will sort itself out.

If it's our military, it's a little odd they don't just say so. It's no secret we have a growing drone compliment for our services. In the '60's, during a peak period of UFO reports, the military was fairly quick to state the obvious. When sonic booms were heard in town, they admitted it was our jets. [I kinda miss those things. ]
