When you are a billionaire and spending your own money, who cares about PR?

If the launch itself goes well and the sat reaches orbit safely... All of this will be forgiven and forgotten... Until the next time.

The billionaire that wants to STAY a billionaire!

SpaceX is under the microscope of potential customers right now, it pays to at least LOOK like you have it together

Well, I suppose Musk is only a multi-millionare, so he probably should invest more in PR. Seriously though, I'd rather a flawless launch and bad PR than a slick presentation and a smoulding hole where the launchpad used to be.

True, but he also needs to provide a professional apperence to his potential customers.

Apparently the Air Force has been watching SpaceX VERY Closely on the ground handleing prior to launch.

Get it working first, then get it polished. I suspect that it would have been much more polished if they weren't working in the middle of the Pacific - since Kwajalein is used to hosting classified DoD launches - NMD tests, etc. - there probably just isn't the telecoms infrastructure we're used to from KSC or VAFB.

A T1 line isn't enough to do any decent kind of media streaming as well as the MUCH more important telemetry and voice circuits back to HQ.

It looks like a weather delay...

Here is what I saw from spaceflightnow:

Flying through thick clouds or electrically-charged clouds can cause a space booster to generate "rocket-triggered lightning" that would damage the vehicle's vital avionics. Exactly what the weather concern is today in Kwajalein has not been announced.
Wasn't the weather much better yesterday.

Figures that the army pulled rank and grabbed the better launch date.
