so what exactly is halo

It's a first person shooter video game for the X-box game system. I don't have an X-box so I've never played it but if you can believe the hype it's very good. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

Runaround, kill thousands of EXACTLY THE SAME MONSTER, move on to the next venue. Wash, rinse, repeat.<br /><br />No real plot, stupid premise, failed to take advantage of a really cool concept (RingWorld).<br /><br />I never understood the attraction of FPS games, and so never play them. I fell for the Halo hype, and want my money back. It is just another FPS. <br /><br />Thief is still the only FP game worth playing. Halo is a game for the X-Box , it is a first person.You play as Master Chief ,a genetically enhanced super-soldier. This is one of the best games ever.

Playing Halo in single player mode is quite boring after a while, but what makes Halo a really great game is the very good coop mode, where 2 players can play the single player campaign together with split screen. It's really fun to play with a friend on the most difficult setting, doing tactics and co-operating.

Co-operative play is excellent isn't it!!

If your interested in Halo then read the Ringworld novels by Larry Niven. Halo 'borrows' alot of its content from these books.
