Here's what we learned about aliens in 2020

Interesting article covering 9 topics. Bottom line. None of the 9 headings *confirmed* alien life is out there but it is an interesting summary for 2020. Concerning 1,000 stars or more where aliens may be looking at Earth (these are intelligent aliens), I use these exoplanet sites. http://exoplanet.eu/, this site shows 4395 confirmed exoplanets and 3242 host stars. 720 of these stars contain multiple exoplanets, 2 or more exoplanets orbiting the host star. This site confirms 4324 exoplanets, https://exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu/index.html

3332 host star names found and 734 host stars with multiple exoplanets orbiting. The article said "And more than 1,000 alien stars could be watching us"

It would be *good science* in my view to pin the host star systems down (identify these 1000 stars or more) like the confirmed exoplanet sites do for the host stars and exoplanets documented. Apparently the official report identifies 1004 main sequence stars within 100 parsecs that could be studied for advanced, alien life looking at Earth, https://academic.oup.com/mnrasl/article/499/1/L111/5931805, i.e. where advanced aliens could view an Earth transit at our Sun and identify our home planet.

At least 3 stars were identified in the study known to have exoplanets confirmed at them, "3 KNOWN EXOPLANET HOSTS IN OUR STAR LIST"
