I know at least two were used. But none of the sites I looked at, including SDC and JPL, listed which ovens were used.

On a related question, what would you expect to be left in the oven after its cycle ends?

Will Pittenger
Add this user box to your Wikipedia User Page to show your support for the SDC forums:
{{User:Will Pittenger/User Boxes/Space.com Account}}

I hope my numbering of the ovens is correct here:

#4 was the first opened: One shutter opened fully, the other partially. This oven was successfully used after much difficulty getting the clumpy soil through the screen.

#5 was the second opened: Neither shutter opened much, leaving only a small opening. They have not yet tried to load sample into this oven.

#0 was the third opened: Both shutters opened fully. This was the second oven to be used. Analysis from this oven is not yet complete.

It's hard to know ahead of time how successful the shutter openings will be on the remaining 5 ovens. They expect the end ovens (#3 and #7) to open as well as #4 and #0 did, but expect some problems with the remaining interior ovens (#6, #1, and #2). They have said however that they think they can successfully load soil into #5 even though it is only slightly open. Hopefully they will be able to use all eight ovens.

http://phoenix.lpl.arizona.edu/images.php?gID=16233&cID=181
