The First Binary Centaur<br /><br />A small world that cuts across the paths of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto is the first binary centaur ever seen, say astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope. Because centaurs can become comets, the discovery suggests that some comets may be double objects.
