interesting...but wouldn't you see the cloaking material? and wouldn't that defeat the purpose?

--------------------SaiphMOD@gmail.com -------------------

"This is my Timey Wimey Detector. Goes "bing" when there's stuff. It also fries eggs at 30 paces, wether you want it to or not actually. I've learned to stay away from hens: It's not pretty when they blow" -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

Article states:

The concept is at such a primitive stage that scientists are talking only at the moment of being able to cloak particles of dust - not spaceships.
*************************************
Actually the American military plane that was downed in Korea a few years back had this technology.... we are 40 years behind the government........(in terms of technology and "special projects")

I can only imagine the chaos that would ensue if a cheap invisibility suit was accessible by the general public.

"If something's hard to do, then it's not worth doing." - Homer Simpson

Got a better invisibility suit. The US army had developed a system that when targeted by a laser guided system it would return a laser and blind the pilot. Now it was declared un-human so is not used, but the blinding of the enemy when they look at you seems an effective "invisibility" method

How do you shoot down an invisibile plane.. and you are just seeing the suit tag, I'm sure bush has the invisibile suit on backwards which is why you see the tag over his tie
