Is MRO already imaging Mars?

With its camera, it could possibly already be able to produce better photos than MGS can. The closest approach during the maneuver was not over the poles, but over Olympus Mons. You are implying that MRO's camera is retractable. Is it? I doubt the solar panels are protected from the heat. In fact, the are the main reason why MRO will slow down during aerobraking.
