Question I've been looking for an occurrence my dad has always mentioned that we both have been unsuccessful in finding.

Before I get into the details I would like to disclaim that this is all according to him.

Around the early 90s, NASA had (they still have this) a 24/7 live stream of a satellite orbiting the Earth. One day the live stream caught two "stars" that were said to be "chasing" after one another. The next day the headline "Star Wars" was all over the news in reference to the described occurrence and the NASA live stream was off the air.

My dad has always been bothered by the fact that he's never found this, so I was wondering if anyone here had answers.
