"Lara Croft" reboot
Sigh....

Paramount did 2 Tomb Raider movies, one huge and one a bust, with Angelina Jolie starring.

Recently Warner Brothers upped their share of Eidos and the rights to TR came as part of the package.

Sooooo.....now Warner is deep into developing a reboot of the franchise.

This time rumors are that Rhona Mitra will be starring as Lara Croft. Mitra was the original model for Lara in the video games, and more recently has starred in the movies "Doomsday", "Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans", "Skinwalkers" and has been a regular on '***/Tuck".

The reboot is rumored to revamp the character and her mission, bearing little resemblance to the Paramount pictures. It will also re-imagine Lara's origin, her love interest and the main villain.

I'm 'Freakin' on this. The original Lara-in the VG- had 'just above the shoulder' hair length, didn't she? She was the classic relatively short haired brunette beauty. Of course Jolie had to exhibit her ass length hair.

BTW, I thought Angelina Jolie was a mis-cast for 'Lara Croft'. Jolie just didn't fit the cute, but capable, adventurous, and sweet Lara Croft. (I'm not saying Jolie didn't try. She just didn't catch it, IMO.)

ZenGalacticore

I first saw her in The Practice/Boston Legal series. I thought she was stunning. However, they have actually toned down her classic beauty in both the movie Doomsday and the picture above. She looks kinda slutty now. Take a look at a couple episodes from the last season of the Practice to see what I mean.
