Hi, I'm new to the board. Does anyone know if there are any companies based in Michigan that have civilian space travel/transport related projects going on?
Also, is there anything out there (studies, reports, whatever) that discusses the potential economic impact of civilian space travel on the state level? I'm looking for something that state polititians might find useful or interesting.

I can't speak about any companies in michigan, but I know how I'd go about looking into the economics of space travel on a state level. I'd contact the legilative libraries for California, New Mexico, and Florida to start with. I believe all of them have civilian spaeports under development, and you can bet they've already compiled this kind of information for their lawmakers.

Good luck on your quest.
Brian J. MARS (Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport, Wallops Island, VA) is a joint venture between Virginia and Maryland state governments.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.
