Mysterious globular clusters could unlock the secrets of galaxy formation

A timely report here in view of this forums discussion, https://forums.space.com/threads/how-do-stars-form.54306/

Some of the last posts discuss the problem with explaining the origin of GCs. Glad to see this report indicates showing DM in GCs in the MW is not working out :) "The biggest clue to the origins of globular clusters is that they have no dark matter. Measurements of their mass using different techniques (adding up all the sources of light, calculating the gravity needed to keep them round, and so on) all add up to the same number, with no need for a hidden, unseen component. This means that globular clusters in the present day are entirely unlike galaxies."
