I hope that quality control is better than with Boeing's aircraft. Parachute lines not strong enough: This is old technology. Wires wrapped in flammable tape: Didn't they learn their lesson when Gus Grissom was burned to death?

Yes, they did learn their lesson. When they discovered the tape was flammable they halted the program so they could fix it.
