I have just read an article saying the current POTUS administration has canceled a lease on a New York City Goddard lab being used by NASA studying important space issues. This raises the question, if this lab was keeping America safe wouldn't that main factor be something to bring up to the administration in a senate hearing? Thank you

This could be something to address with your representatives to share your concerns, but not likely to come up in specific hearings by itself. Maybe as part of some NASA funding discussion, or as part of an overall indictment of policy decisions against science (in a more general fashion).

Unfortunately, the issue would likely get lost/derailed in the political discourse that dominates the current environment.

The topic of study of that particular facility is not limited to NY. Just something to keep in mind.

For this site, we focus on space/science, not politics. There are much better sites for those discussions.
