Are any of you cool cats going? Ill be there. I posted this on here because i do try to keep up with NASA, but i had no idea about this. They could have done SOME kind of advertisement during the shuttle launch prep on NASA TV as a reminder IMO. Anyways if youre in the area im sure it would be cool to go. Thanks for the notice. Unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow or I'd check it out. Does anyone here actually know the address? I was trying to use Google Earth and Mapquest to find it but Mapquest just gave me the center of Hampton, and Google Earth has directed me to a baseball field.. I'm sure it is not black listed right? Their site only offers "in general" directions. I'm in Richmond minutes from Chippingham Hospitl.

ah you guys did not miss out on much..at all. it was A LOT of kiddie/non astronomer stuff it was like a festival. im sure i missed the hardcore stuff the place is so huge. anyway i did get to get on the hab they plan to send to mars, ould not get inside but they let us in through the airlock part and look through the window. accidently turned into the Air Force Base the guards had assault rifles around their necks at the gate so that was an interesting moment. lol.

Glad you found it, but sorry it wasn't what was advertised.<br /><br />Did you see the big building along Wythe Creek Road? Always wondered what was in that building. It looks like it could house a wind tunnel. Also along that road is what looks like a rocket sled track. yeah i think i missed A LOT.. on their site is photos with people by space crafts.. I saw no space crafts and was looking for them so bad. I had no idea where i could and could not go and i did not want to walk all the way to them and could not get in.
