Cheers
Posted by alexiton

Yeah, it's an American thing. It refers to breakfast cereal brands. You signed off a post with the typically British "Cheerio," which is close enough to a brand of breakfast cereal called "Cheerios" here. Maybe you have them, too.

Anyway, origin signed off his post with "captain crunch" which is another brand of breakfast cereal. It struck me as funny. You ever tried laughing while drinking something? It tends to reverse the flow of liquids up the wrong piping.

Now, what was the topic of this thread?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.
LOL kool, thought might be some sort of sneak attack. Never heard of captain crunch and cheerios are mini saveloys in my neck of the woods. Hmm, not being british god knows why I say cheerio so regularly but thanks for that explanation and forgive my droll reference to nasal hydraulics.

ciao
