Wonderful idea, i'm all for it- they could have done alot better on the name though. "One Small Step to Protect Human Heritage in Space Act" really? Whats wrong with simplifying it and calling it something else like "Space Heritage Preservation Act"?

Just my thoughts.

Is it a felony?

I was just grazing my buggalo when they stampeded and trashed out the Apollo 11 landing site.

I hope that all nations will respect the Apollo landing sites, after all they are "for all mankind" - I hope too that when it becomes necessary to decommission the ISS and the Hubble Space telescope that some way can be found to safely de-orbit these objects to the Moon, after all these objects are of real historic significance and should not be simply burned up in Earth's atmosphere. It would be fitting to find someway of preserving them for future generations to visit on their travels into space.
