New Pictures of the Orion Nebula from Hubble

I am SOOOO glad NASA serviced Hubble. These new pictures of 30 proto-planetary disks in the Orion Nebula are INCREDIBLE.

Does anybody if is it true color?

Very unlikely it is true color. Typically, such images are made by combining monochromatic images through various filters, assigning a different color to each image. One of the benefits of the last Hubble upgrade was expanding the bandwidth of the scope far beyound the visual spectrum

I haven't found the original image yet, and of course, SDC doen't provide a link to them so you can find out the details

Yeah there aren't any links and the hubblesite news pages don't have that pic (or I missed it somehow).

There's got to be someone here who's taken pics of, or knows what M42 looks like in true human color.
