STS-114. Thanx to a 1 pound peice of foam that didn't even hit the Shuttle. It's going to be a full year between Shuttle flights... Very very very very disapointing...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11825869/
Don't let your sig line incite a gay thread ;>)

LC39A is also to blame... Being restricted to 1 pad is tough.

Now, I'm not bashing NASA, but I have to ask a couple of questions about the insulation.

1) Is the method of insulating and type of insulation required different for the LOX portion and the LH2 portion of the shuttle tank?

2) Are the foam shedding problems coming from both the LOX portion and the LH2 portions of the tank?
