If one of these stars twords the middle should supernova, could it start a chain reaction of supernovas throughout the core?

No. It is not like stars are dynamite waiting for a spark to set them off. Stars go supernova for 2 reasons (that I know of). The first reason is that the stars nuclear fuel is depleted and the second is if a white dwarf draws a sufficient amount of mass from a companion star to collapse on itself and become a supernova. Neither of these mechanisms would be affected by another star going supernova near them.
