I was wondering if someone could help me understand right accension. I just can't seem to grasp it on my own. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
On a world globe, notice the latitude and longitude lines and then imagine them projected onto the night sky. Longitude would be right ascension and latitude declination which is measured as degrees north and south while RA is measured as hours minutes seconds.
